Let’s face it. As soon as the clock strikes Fall o’clock, pumpkin is ALL we can think about. Pumpkin decorations, pumpkin cookies, pumpkin carving, and our personal favorite-- pumpkin spice lattes! The sweet aroma of fall mixed with the cozy, warm taste of pumpkin pie and the rich flavor of Beantween coffee is a treat that completely fulfills our cravings. Fortunately for you, coffee shops aren’t the only ones that can master the beloved PSL...in fact, you most likely have all of the ingredients at home right now to make it for yourself, and, if you have your bag of Beantween Coffee handy, then you’re already one step ahead!

What You’ll Need:
1 cup milk of your choice
2 tablespoons organic pumpkin puree
1-2 tablespoons maple syrup
1-2 tsp sugar (optional)
1 tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp pumpkin pie spice + a sprinkle or so more for the top
½ cup hot Beantween Coffee or 1-2 shots of Beantween Espresso
Whipped cream (optional)
Start by heating your milk until warm. You can do this in a saucepan on the stove or by using a milk warmer, whichever you prefer. Continually check the temperature of the milk and be careful not to let it boil.
Once the milk is to the temperature of your liking, you can either pour it into a medium-sized, clear measuring glass or leave it in the pot. You will be adding all of the remaining ingredients to this and frothing it in just a bit.
Next, brew your Beantween coffee. While this recipe calls for a ½ cup of Beantween coffee, you can make adjustments for the specific amount you’d like! The wonderful thing about making pumpkin spice latte’s at home is that YOU get to be in control of how sweet, pumpkin-y, and/or strong the drink is.
Now it’s time to return to the milk. Add the pumpkin puree, maple syrup, vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, and sugar to the measuring cup.
Use a milk frother or a whisk to mix everything together. You’ll know it’s ready when there are no longer any clumps of pumpkin puree visible in the milk. When everything has sufficiently been combined, pour it into a mug of your choice.
Once the Beantween coffee is ready, stir it into your milk.
Finally, top the drink with some whipped cream and more pumpkin pie spice and enjoy!
